A single mother in Gbudue State has decided to lay thousands of bricks, to build a house and sell others to earn her living.
Veronica Beni Patrick says women should learn how to do any productive work to improve their standard of living, but not to depend on men, Anisa Radio reports.
She says as a woman, she decided to lay bricks because the economic situation keeps on deteriorating.
Beni adds that she is able to pay her son, nephews and nieces and herself in school from the money she gets from the bricks, though she is a single mother.
She continues that she managed to buy new brand bicycle and other house property from the bricks work.
Beni says the work is challenging to women but there is no any option.
The woman appeals to the government and well wishers to support women in South Sudan.
