Holy Cross Parish of the Diocese of El-Obeid in the Nuba Mountains has celebrated the feast of Saint Daniel Comboni marked with the graduation of more than ten teachers.
Father Deogratius Minja explains in the homily that Daniel Comboni was a good shepherd who offered his life for the people he was serving. Voice of Peace Radio reports
He reminds people to be good shepherds and use their talents to serve others.
Father Deo recalls how Comboni came to Africa when there were many challenges including his parents who died after he left but never gave up.
He said Comboni created many activities that help lift the Africans to a good situation today.
Sister Cinta Mutesiya, the principal of the collage instructs the graduates to perpetuate education activities in the community.
This is the third batch of the teachers to graduate in the collage since the foundation three years ago.
