Eye witnesses say the water tank driver was speedily driving from Gudele when he knocked the three gentlemen who were footing on their right-hand side of the road. Bakhita Radio reports.
Some witnesses express anger and disappointment upon the delay of the police response team to the incident.
They say it took only seconds for police to save the driver from the hands of angry people but it took almost one hour to bring a vehicle to clear the scene and save the life of the one who was still breathing.
Meanwhile South Sudan’s police spokesperson, Daniel Justine Boulo blamed the delay on lack of immediate car to rush to the scene and also the delay in information to reach concerned authorities.
This is the second-time fatal accidents occur along Juba-Gudele road and on the same spot or venue this month.
