Joseph Anei Mador says his office has received reports of some individuals demolishing old building in the town with an intention of constructing new shops. Don Bosco Radio reports.
Anei issued an order on Friday banning demolishing of old structures in and outside the town
He stresses that whoever violates the order will be punished.
The Mayor clarifies that if those building are renovated it can still be useful in other ways.
