The Community Empowerment for Progress Organization, CEPO has appreciated President Salva Kiir Mayardit for coming out openly and blamed some of the police and organized forces for committing crimes.
Addressing police on Wednesday the President said the rate of crimes in the country is increasing and many have been committed by organized forces.
Edmond Yakani, CEPO Executive Director says such messages encourage civilians to report cases to the authorities.
He aadvises President Kiir to be vigilant and talk about issues affecting citizens.
Yakani calls on the organized forces to stop looting and killing people and remember the oath they took to protect civilians.
The Executive Director also appeals to President Kiir to care for the well being of the soldiers by increasing their salary and pay them on time.
A woman whose name is not mentioned for security purpose says the women are not happy for what the soldiers are doing. She tells the forces to present their issues to the president instead of looting innocent people.
She expresses happiness to the President for talking bitterly to the soldiers, encouraging him to continue.
Meanwhile other women who refused their voices to be recorded for safety reasons, say the speech of the President is too late. Because they think, many incidences have happened but he could not comment.
