Provision of security is a collective responsibility and the public have a role to play by identify the criminals, says SPLA Spokesman.
 
Brigadier General Lul Ruai Koang notes that the criminals when they are punish and apprehended it will be a lesson for others. He says sharing of information between security forces and general public will help combat crimes.
 
Ruai says their programme has started last year in how to explore ways with the security organs in Juba and other parts of the country.
 
He adds that they had improved on their gains and strengthening their weaknesses.
 
Rajab Muhandis the Excutive Director for SSUNDE said the since incident of July last year there has been a need of more collaboration between civil society and the security operatives to jointly work for the security of the civil population.
 
He believes many citizens today fear men in military uniformed is because of the implications of criminal activities committed by armed men. But due to the join patrol that was recently deployed in the town there has been some improvement in the security in Juba.
 
Dozens of civil society activists and different security operatives met in Juba today to discuss ways of how to strengthen collaboration in providing security for civil populations in the country.
