The Parish Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Yei is advising Christians not to use telephones and internet during prayers to avoid interference and listen to the word of God.
Fr Tom Poru Martin urges all to put off their telephones during prayers, Radio Easter reports.
He encourages everyone to be attentive to the word of God only.
Fr Poru considers communicating on phone during prayers as disrespect to the God and the Church.
The Priest spoke during his homily preaching on Sunday at Chris the King Cathedral.
