The Diocese of El-Obeid’s Queen of Peace Catholic Parish in Nuba Mountains is expected to conduct a workshop which is conducted every year in September.
Fr Zachariah Osman explains that the meeting is to highlight the issues of corruption in administration and business among others, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
He adds that the workshop aims at creating awareness to the community on how to save what they have for the future of their children.
Fr Osman remarks that the workshop is opened to all the community including non-Catholics.
He reveals that corruption was widespread which he believes was due to lack of awareness.
Fr Osman adds that people have the resource to make potential investments.
He calls on the other parishes to take the same initiative of such workshops to educate the community about social issues.
Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Parish in Hieban County also have similar course.
