The Director of Tonj State owned Radio and TV said abusive songs should not be played anymore on radios and in public speakers in market places.

Santino Manut Walgoot explains that good songs should be played so that people may provide positive vibes among young people and elders. Don Bosco Radio reports

He notes that abusive songs destroy the minds and hearts of the people and create enmity among communities which might lead to communal fighting.

Manut threatened to persecute anybody who plays such abusive songs on radio or in public places.

Veronica Aduol Nyang, member of the artist union, advises artists to solve their problems individually instead of composing songs that are insulting and promote hatred and violence.
