The Inter-Church Committee and Norwegian Church Aid or NCA conducted the second peace prayer in Tonj state to pray for peace in South Sudan.
During the prayers service at Freedom square, Bishop John Fabiano, of the Pentecostal Church says the prayer is a chance for South Sudanese to ask God to bring peace in South Sudan, Don Bosco radio reports.
Fabiano explains that let South Sudanese initiate personal approach for peace among each other so the entire country could get a real peace.
Tonj State deputy governor Manhiem Bol Malek appreciates the inter-church committee with the NCA for facilitating peace prayer in the state.
He believes that if people of Tonj accept the word of God then they will enjoy real peace.
The speakers were addressing the crowd on Thursday in Tonj marking the International Day of Peace.
