The reintegration of the South Sudan National Liberation Movement or SSNLM will begin soon, says the speaker of Gbudue state legislative assembly.
Victor Edward Kpiawandu says the team is in Juba to submit the final report to the president for approval of the graduation and reintegration. Anisa Radio repots.
Edward explains that the process delayed due to the incident that took place last week in Yambio when one of SSNLM Major General was killed.
Edward urges members of the SSNLM to remain optimistic and assure them that the integration process into the government forces will be done soon.
Gbudue State Police Commissioner, James Monday Enoch a member of the committee confirms that all the arrangements are done and the integration will be done after the approval.
SSNLM is the former armed men who took up arms to fight the government demanding equal representation and promotion into the government institutions and organized forces in the country.
They signed a peace agreement with government in April last year but implementation has been experiencing numerous challenges.
