South Sudan and Congo tackle border issues, says governor

Governor of Yei Rive State says South Sudan and Democratic Republic of Congo DRC have discussed issues on border areas to have memorandum of understanding between the two countries.
 
David Lokonga Moses revealed that they have agreed with Congolese government to open border linking the two countries so as to allow free movement of local populations. Easter Radio reports.
 
Governor Lokonga assures citizens of Yei that a committee of grass root peace initiative is expected to visit different categories of people in the state soon, but he did not mention the exact date.
 
Governor tells citizens to raise their grievances and speak their minds without fear when the committee arrives in their area.
 
He urges those who have taken up arms against the government to respond for the grass root peace initiative.
 
Governor Logonga spoke to reporters in Yei on Tuesday after his arrival from the Kinshasa.
