Kuarjina County Commissioner in Wau State has started sensitizing communities about the importance of peace and reconciliation after the devastated violence that hit the area in last February this year.

Barjowak Uchu explaines that they have started sensitizing the chiefs and the community leaders in different Payams and Bomas of Kuarjina County. Voice of Hope radio reports.

He adds that the chiefs will help in creating new relationships between citizens and other neighboring communities through preaching respect and reconciliation.

Uchu believes respect among each other will allow communities to forget the past and bring peace to the area

He explains that sensitizing citizens will create a space that can help government provide services to the people.

He notes that the insecurity in the past has affected the readiness of people to pay revenue to the county.

Commissioner Uchu urges intellectuals of the county to be committed to pay revenue for development and to avoid division among the people.
