Education Minister calls for help for children learning under trees in Tombura State

The State Minister of Education in Tambura state is callsing for help to support children who are still learning under trees in many parts of the State
 
Justin Ebere Ginana confirms that 29 schools in Tombura state are operating under trees. Anisa Radio reports.
 
Ebere reveals that there are currently two national organizations, including Life Skill Development Organization which has signed memorandum of understanding with the State government to provide services to some schools.
 
He says the MoU is to address some of the issues and offer training to teachers and bringing in some teachers who can teach on voluntary basis and lesson planning 
 
The teachers also will be equipped on how to keep students in school, he adds.
 
The Minister says, there is need for schools’ rehabilitation, constructions and water sources in the schools
 
He calls on the parents to send their children to school because they are the future leaders. 
 
Ebere says, every child has the full right to acquire education,  calling on the young people to focus on Education for better future.
 
The Education Minister appreciates the eighty six candidates who sat for national examinations for the 2016/2017 in Tombura State who passed 100%
