Youth members of St Francis of Assisi parish in Nimule are calling on the young people to denounce negative ancestral means of showing strength like fighting.
Koma Amiko urges them to concentrate on peace building activities to realize a positive change in the country, Radio Emmanuel reports.
He also appeals to the youth to engage on peace initiatives so as to gain strength and independence from war mongers.
Duku Emmanuel Joseph is the acting youth leader of St. Francis of Assisi Church. He says youth should stay close to the Church for moral and spiritual nourishment to preach peace.
They say each and every youth has a role to contribute towards peace building in South Sudan.
