The security situation in Tonj and Gogrial states has become calm after the governors of the two states convinced their conflicting communities.
The fighting began within Gogrial State and spread to one of Tonj Counties leaving three people dead.
Deputy Governor of Tonj State Manhiem Bol Malek confirms to Radio Good News that the security situation in the border is relatively calm.
Bol explains that State Governor Akec Tong Aleu went to the area and managed to settle the conflict.
Bol appreciates Tonj people for maintaining peace in the region.
