The Catholic Bishop of Tombura-Yambio is calling for quick integration into SPLA of the armed opposition forces who signed peace deal with government more than a year ago in Yambio.
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala says the situation in Yambio deserves a quick attention and intervention from the national government, Radio Anisa reports.
He recommends enrollment of the armed youth and their distribution to the systems of the government.
The Bishop appeals to President Salva Kiir and his cabinet to give the rights of all groups who have agreed to join the government.
He believes that it brings confusion when they are not integrated because anybody can command them.
Bishop Hiiboro applauds the government of Gbudue State for the effort that they have made to control the situation on Sunday in Yambio.
He condemned the shooting within the town on Sunday morning.
The Bishop ask God to give internal life to all those who lost their lives and consolation and strength to the grieved families.
