A counselor at Yei Catholic Diocesan Counseling Centre is urging his fellow therapists to wind trust of the people by not exposing their secrets.

John Mawa Fredric says by exposing secrets of people coming for counseling, advisors make trauma wounds bigger in their hearts, Radio Easter reports.

The work of counselors is to clear away the wounds caused by the trauma so that God will heal them, he adds.

The official urges the people to utilize the counseling centers so that they get their psychosocial support.

The counselor spoke to Radio Easter in an exclusive interview on Friday following mistrust from the people to counselors.
