Tonj State Education minister announces secondary exams results

The State Minister of Education on Monday declared the results of student who sat for national exams.
 
Deng Mayom Akeen says the percentage of the students who passed this year has dropped by twenty-five percent compared to previous years, Radio Don Bosco reports.
 
Piny Thok Manhiem Bol of Tonj Secondary led the state with 73.9 percent.
 
Chan Angui Dhal of Warrap occupied the second position with 73 point one percent.
 
The minister attributes low performance to economic and political crisis in the country.
 
Far distance is the measure problem affecting some learners, minister Mayom adds.
 
He appreciates girls for participating well in the exams this year.
 
The minister encourages some students who failed not to lose hope, but put more efforts next year.
