Tonj State Minister of Finance on Monday presented a draft budget of fiscal year 2017/2018 to the August house.
James Gabriel Khamis discloses that it is the first budget since Tonj separated from former Warrap State, Radio Don Bosco reports.
Minister Khamis promises to prioritize payment of salaries of despite challenges that may arise.
He says the ministry will monitor revues collection in the state to reduce misuse of public finance. Minister Khamis adds that that he has taken steps that will solve major problems in the state.
Khamis says the state ministry of finance has taken step to amend taxation act 2011 of difanct Warrap state into bill and this will solve major state problems if passed by the house.
