The priest in the Catholic Diocese of Torit is telling Christians to fear God and recognize His presence in their daily duties by working for the truth
Fr Anthony Odoemelam tells Christians to be honest by telling what they see, Radio Emmanuel reports.
The priest points out that people normally ask God to bless and give them jobs but later turn away after they got what they asked for.
Fr Odoemmelam quoted Prophet Jeremiah in the Bible asking his people to stand for the truth.
He says South Sudanese should not give up to ensure a just society, although working for truth causes hatred.
The catholic priest was talking to Christians at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Parish in Torit on Sunday.
