A Catholic priest of Sacred Heart Tonj Parish says Christians should lose their lives on earth in order to gain eternal one in Heaven.
Fr Peter Kariuki urges Christians to come to church in order to get the word of God and stop other activities organized on Sundays, Radio Don Bosco reports.
He encourages the congregation to accept prosecution as Christ did for the sake of the Gospel.
He reminds the faithful to carry the cross as a sign of following the same path of Christ.
Fr Kariuki tells all Christians to imitate Jesus by loving their enemies as He does to them.
Jesus needs his followers to change their lives and become His true disciples, he adds.
The priest asks the congregation to listen to the words of God so that their ways of thinking will be changed to please God.
Fr Kariuki was preaching on Sunday at Sacred Heart Parish Church in Tonj.
