It is impossible to conduct credible elections within the remaining period of peace implementation, says Executive Director of South Sudanese Network for Democracy and Elections or SSuNDE.
In a statement released on Sunday Rajab Mohandis said the country has not completed preparations of legal structures for elections according to the agreement.
He calls on the High-level Revitalization Forum on agreement to review relevant articles and agree on timeline for full and realistic implementation of the accord.
The statement says it is the parties to agreement and all concerned South Sudanese to be truthful to the public about the state of affairs in the country.
The agreement demands amendment of the Transitional Constitution of South Sudan, the Political Parties Act and the National Elections Act.
