The Minister of Information in Imotong State is warning communities in Torit against conducting meetings on security issues as it undermines the government.

Jacob Atari Albano argues that the communities have no mandate to hold security meetings where there is a government, Radio Emmanuel reports.

He says the community is allowed to raise any issue affecting them to the government.

Minister Atari warns that anybody who organizes meeting is illegal.

He calls on the people to cooperate with the state government.

Atari advises the communities to ask for permission before conducting meetings.
