Community Empowerment charity trains youth on transitional justice in Ibba

Community Empowerment for Rehabilitation and Development sensitized hundreds of youth in Ibba County of Maridi State on transitional justice and how it works.
 
Radio Anisa quoted Baboya Charles Badgere of Ibba reporting that the training aimed at raising their understanding on transitional justice and reconciliation.
 
He says the youth were able to define transitional justice, where it can be applicable and how to reconcile the community.
 
The sensitization is to empower youth to become peace makers in South Sudan, says Baboya.
 
Asienzo Soney Valentino, project officer for Community Empowerment for Rehabilitation and Development, says young people are the most important agents of change in any society.
 
Commissioner of Ibba County, Tito Jersama, appreciates the local organization for enlightening the youth.
 
The Commissioner says it is only through reconciliation and justice that peace can come to South Sudan.
 
He advices the community to unite for peace and development in country 
 
In relate event, forty-two executive officers receive farewell ceremony from the community of Ibba County before returning to Maridi State headquarters.
