A teacher in Bongo Basic Primary School on Saturday urges education authorities to include local languages into the curriculum for learners to know their local languages properly.
Marko Mathiang Bol says they were learning both foreign and local languages during their studies in the past, Radio Don Bosco reports.
The teacher stresses that they have started teaching local languages since the beginning 2017.
Mathiang appeals to national of Ministry of General Education to put learning as first priority.
Another teacher of Dinka language also proposes the 64 languages to be taught in schools across the country.
The speakers made the comments on Saturday in Tonj.
