Gok, Eastern and Western Lakes States on Thursday ended the peace dialogue with a number of resolutions to counter cattle theft, revenge killings and roads ambushes along the borders.
Western Lakes Chairperson for State Peace Committee, Chol Kuotwel Manhom, says the dialogue recommends massive removal of guns from the hands of civilians across the three states.
Kuotwel says the meeting calls for deployment of joint border force and establishment of association courts to handle border issues across the three states.
Some participants commend the resolutions and call for their implementation to realize peace in Greater Lakes States.
The two-day dialogue was supported by Catholic Relief Service in partnership with South Sudan Council of Churches funded by USAID.
