SPLA-IO forces return woman and child kidnapped in Yambio

SPLA-IO in Li-Rangu Payam of Yambio County returned a woman and her child been kidnapped few month ago, says Secretary-General for the Inter-Faith Based Council for Peace in Western Equatoria Region.
 
Reverend Elinana Jacob Bisi conforms that the woman returned is from Jur Bel community in Yambio, Radio Anisa reports.
 
After negotiation between the Inter-faith-based Council Peace and SPLA-IO in Li-Rangu last week they released them, he adds.
 
Pastor Jacob points out that reconciliation between communities of Azande and Jur Bel is in progress.
 
They are preparing to disseminate the peace agreement signed between the two communities, he adds.
 
Western Equatoria Inter-faith-based Council for Peace is proposing also to engage six governors in a peace conference.
 
The Governors expected for the Conference include Yei River, Amadi, Maridi and Gbudue States, he adds.
 
Other Governors will be Tombura and Wau States where the community and the government will discuss how to combat insecurity on the roads connecting the six states, he says.
 
The Inter-faith-based Council is the body comprising all Christian denominations and Muslim community that works as a neutral entity between any conflicting parties in the state to realize positive changes.
