Children should not be allowed to play with hand gloves because they can affect their health, a laboratory technician in Tonj Civil Hospital urges parents.
Peter Thokriel Clement cautions that the use of gloves is to protect doctors from infection when taking blood sample, Radio Don Bosco reports.
The technician says they do not discard their syringes, gloves and other rubbish thing anyhow, but they use safety box and holes for burning rubbish.
Thokriel reiterates that children should not blow gloves and use them as footballs.
The technician appeals to parents and guardians to stop their children from playing with rubbish from the clinic.
The speaker made the remarks during an inclusive interview to Radio Don Bosco on Tuesday in Tonj.
