Christian Agency for Development distributed clothes, medical dressing materials and some snacks to one hundred and twenty-five street children in Juba on Thursday.

We want to bring the attention of concerned authorities that street kids are suffering and they deserve help, says Peter Maliir Biyar, Executive Director for Christian Agency for Development.

He adds that they offer the services to street children because they are aware of the hardships they are undergoing while searching for food to survive on.

Deng Jacob, Executive Director for Minds and Souls Institute, who hosted the event, says they see many children undergoing many risks on streets while looking for food.

He says they have partnered with Juba Teaching Hospital to treat the wounded ones.

15-year-old Martin Lorukoba, who fled violence from Kapoeta State since 2014 and has been staying on the street in Juba, says he does not know whereabouts of his family.

Another street child, James Taban, who left their house in Hai Game in Juba, says since 2015 things have not been at their favour, but they keep on surviving because there is no other way.

Mothers and kids young as one-year were among those who turned up to receive clothes, medical dressing materials and some snacks.
