Kichama Youth Association or KYA is preparing to plant trees to fight desertification in the Nuba Mountains, says Acting chairman.
Kocho Peter, notes that lack of rains in the previous months forced them not to plant trees in the region, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
The Acting chairman calls on people to continue working hard so as to succeed in their homes and the whole Nuba Mountains.
The Association which also supports two community schools in the area, appeals to people to teach voluntarily.
