At least seven houses collapsed on Thursday after heavy rain in Tonj State.
Radio Don Bosco quoted Elizabeth Kamilo Gitol who lost her house to flood, saying her house collapsed when everywhere was full of water.
‘Three of us were sleeping in the house when I heard the wall cracking and we came out’, she explains.
Mrs Kamilo says she has lost many things inside the house because it was at night and difficult to safe her property.
The woman advises the public to be careful when sleeping inside when it is raining.
The speaker talked to Don Bosco Radio on Monday.
