Christopher Paul Madut, Director-General in the ministry, says the meeting was to look on how to forms a committee for the program, Radio Voice of Hope reports.

The meeting was also way of finding how best health activities help communities in Bomas, he adds.

Dr Paul says each Boma will select three people to participate in health awareness and campaigns to deliver services to communities in rural areas.

The meeting was to form an oversight committee at the state after the national ministry of health started, explains Nancy Grace Lamwaka of Health Net.

The initiative aims at developing community health structures as a formal component of the national health system.
