Women Forum consults Imotong Youth Union on peace building role

South Sudan Women Forum is doing consultations on views of citizens to peace, reconciliation and understanding the role women can play in Imotong State.
 
The Forum team leader, Mary Justo Tombe, says they are getting information from grassroots to advocate for peace in South Sudan, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
Imotong Youth Union leader, James Otililing Oliang, acknowledges that young people being the majority have lost lives in the current ongoing conflicts.
 
He says the Union is advocating for peace and stands to support harmonious activities for development in the state.
 
The youth leader promises full support on the national dialogue in Imotong State.
 
Imotong Youth Union Legal Councilor, Beda Kasmiro Anthony, says women involvement in peace process brings positive results.
 
He says a woman is identified by care of love in every society.
 
The Legal Councilor describes putting a number of women to serve in government top positions as affirmative action that leads to a righteous nation.
