The Salesians Sisters of Don Bosco in Sacred Heart Tonj are training women on tailoring and cooking under the theme: ‘Women promotion’.
Sister Linda Dominic, head of the project, says the aim is to promote women who are not able to support their families, Radio Don Bosco reports.
The nun appreciates the women for turning up for training despite the challenges they are facing.
She explains that they added other courses because women need a lot of practical work to help them.
Meanwhile Zara Abdurrahman, one of the participants, expresses happiness because she has learnt how to sew and other things that she did not know before.
She advises her colleagues to take part in any things offered to women.
