Gbudue Governor calls for support to youth who join peace

Gbudue State Governor is calling on partners to support the youth who joined peace by economically empowering them after their reintegration into civilians’ life to enable them carter for their families.
 
Daniel Badagbu Rimbasa says to get the sustainable peace, everyone has to work and the armed young people need basic support like livelihood program, Radio Anisa reports.
 
He discloses that Gbudue State wants to transform the culture of war into peace, but that work has been affected as the country is facing financial challenge,.
 
Badagbu says the reintegration is to send the message to the globe that South Sudan is working for sustainable peace.
 
He says the process is being divided into section and underage children will be removed from the system and would be enrolled in schools.
 
The Governor says elderly people are free to decide and the government of Gbudue has registered 2,700 men who want direct reintegration into the society.
 
He calls for peacefully co-existence among the people of the state and support to vulnerable group for their sustainability.
 
The Governor talked after the arrival of UNMISS Deputy Chief from Juba for the reintegration of the armed youth into government forces.
