One hundred and fifty SPLA-IO forces loyal to Taban Deng Gai returned to Wau State to join the government in peace dialogue after fighting for the last two years.

Santino Majok Deng, head of the team, says they came back to join the peace process because there is no gain in fighting, Radio Voice of Hope reports.

He adds that some of their colleagues will join them soon.

The government is glad to receive the group of SPLA-IO forces to be part of the peace process, says David John Ponis, Minister of Information.

He describes the coming of the forces as a fortune because in peace all people win and benefit from the stability.

Wau State Governor, Andrea Mayar Acho, welcomes the armed opposition force and encourages them to embrace peace.

It is important to work for peace and leave grievances, he adds.

The Governor appeals that national dialogue is the only chance South Sudanese should use for resolving problems amicably.

The officials made their remark on the arrival of the SPLA-IO forces in Wau on Monday.
