Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese trains civil society in Yambio

Justice and Peace Commission of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio is training civil society and community-based organizations in Yambio on conflict and analysis.
 
Mungua Anthony, Program Manager for Justice and Peace Commission says they chose the topic for 30 participants because the country has been facing a lot of clashes, Radio Anisa reports.
 
The manager adds that conflict analysis tool will help trainees to study types of conflicts in communities and to develop mechanisms for peacefully coexistence.
 
He discloses that trainers will help the participants to settle issues amicably in their various areas.
 
Mungua discloses that the participants will be peace ambassadors because they are always close with the people in their community. 
 
He encourages communities to promote peace because without tranquility, justice cannot prevail and there will be no development.
 
Justice and peace commission of Tombura-Yambio Catholic Church has been conducting trainings on peace building and conflict analysis to different groups in the Diocese and in the state.
