Ongwec Peter says Yei is joining the globe to mark World Breastfeeding Week, Radio Easter reports.
He adds they receive new cases of breastfeeding mothers from rural areas.
Peter appeals to the government to allow humanitarian agencies reach their services to rural areas.
Meanwhile some mothers say breastfeeding is a big challenge due to lack of food to eat in families.
They appreciate ACROSS and UNICEF for supporting lactating mothers in South Sudan.
They were speaking to Radio Easter at Outpatient Therapeutic Centre of Yei State Hospital on Friday.
