At least 13 people died and number of people displaced from Beselia County due to hunger that severely hit the county, says Commissioner of Beselia County.
Francis Ibrahim told Radio Voice of Hope that security situation in the county is stable but, hunger forced people to move to the town.
Recently almost 13 people died of hunger that hit the county.
On Friday night eighty two people and Chief Matthew Nguba Ubu fell into ambush at the border of the county and municipality, Ibrahim cites.
One woman was shot dead and the rest of them scattered into the forest for their safety, he adds.
Beselia residences are entering the town at night because they fear of armed groups and the criminals on the roads, the commissioner adds.
Humanitarian agencies have to rescue the situation in the villages instead of encouraging people to displace towards town.
He warned about the danger of criminals in Block B adding that a theft practice is still continuing, he describes.
It is dangerous because criminals are still looting people`s properties on the skirt of the town, he discloses.
