Community Empowerment for Progress Organization trains civil society organizations on their and humanitarian laws in South Sudan.

Stephen Robo Musa, CEPO Wau Coordinator, says the workshop that targets 20 people from different organizations looks at benefits and challenges of laws, Radio Voice of Hope reports.

He says the law that says 80 percent of the workforce in nongovernmental organizations should be South Sudanese is been applied in the country.

Robo adds that the new law is not yet clear about registration of local organizations and paying fees to the government.

The Coordinator was speaking to Radio Voice of Hope in the sideline of the training on Thursday in Wau.
