FODAG enlightens stakeholders on dialogue process in Yambio

Foundation of Democracy and Accountable Governance or FODAG held a workshop to enlighten stakeholders on the dialogue process in Yambio, Gbudue State.
 
FODAG Director, Jame David Kolok, says the seminar was to let the stakeholders get the processes of the implementation of a national dialogue, Radio Anisa reports.
 
He urges the participants to give their views about the dialogue with experiences from other countries around the globe.
 
Kolok outlines the three stages in the process of dialogue: Preparation phase, discussion process, identification of delegates and implementation.
 
He adds that all stages are very important towards successful dialogue.
 
Gbudue State Deputy Governor Grace Datiro in her opening remarks urges the participant to take the message of the National dialogue to citizens at the grassroots.
 
The government of Gbudue State is ready to work hand in hand with civil society organizations to achieve sustainable peace in the country, he assures.
 
Gbudue Minister of Education, Pia Phillip Michael, urges the participants to utilize the opportunity to achieve successful dialogue for peace to prevail in the country.
 
He calls on South Sudanese to accept one other and stick to the process of the national dialogue for the well being of the country.
 
The minister says that there will be peace conferences and workshops to let people reconcile and consider the sustainability of the country.
 
Mborikinaho Kenneth one of the participants calls upon the steering committee to involve women for a successfully dialogue.
 
The participants appreciate FODAG for the workshop to give the knowledge of how dialogue has been conducted in other parts of the world.
 
The one-day workshop drew seventy participants from civil society organizations, Church leaders and teachers among others.
