The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba has on Friday entered its second day for the centenary liturgical music competition.
Radio Bakhita quotes Fr Nicholas Kiri, chairman of sub-committee of liturgy in the Centenary, saying the Archdiocese took an effective turn for a direct move to 100 years of faith in Juba.
He calls on all Christians to rejoice over the strong foundation of faith in the Archdiocese.
Fr Kiri also explains that the aim of the competition is to collect songs that will be sung on the Archdiocesan centenary celebrations in 2019.
He adds that the results will be announced on Sunday though the selection process is tedious.
The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba is preparing to celebrate the centenary in July 2019 at All Saints Parish Rejaf, under the theme: ‘Renewing our faith and responding to its challenges’.
