Local traders train women on income generation in Tombura

Local traders are training women on how to form associations and co-operatives to generate income in Tombura State.
 
Dominic Ismail, Press Secretary in the Office of the Governor reported to Radio Anisa that the training is to give them money and start business in their groups.
 
Mary Romano Yata, State Advisor of Gender, encourages the women to work hand in hand and make their groups grow.
 
The Managing dictator of Royal says the company is trying to empower women of Tombura state.
 
He says the first training started with five women groups, now the second batch comprises of ten different women associations.
 
After the training, each women group will be given one hundred and fifty thousand Pounds, he discloses.
 
He adds that the first groups composed of 75 women and the second group is 50 females and the loan will be paid in installment after three months.
 
Royal Company, a new local organization formed by local traders in Tombura State is the supporting women in Tombura State to boost their developments.
