A doctor working in Tonj Civil Hospital says malaria cases are very common in the state, affecting mostly five-year-old children.

Peter Akeen Mayiik mentions that they receive about twenty-five malaria patients every day, Radio Don Bosco reports.

Dr Mayiik appeals to the public to sleep under mosquito nets to prevent them from the illness.

The doctor advises people to rush to the health Centre and avoid going to the witchcrafts.

The doctor was talking to radio Don Bosco on Wednesday in Tonj.
