Intergovernmental Authority on Development or IGAD will start revival of the 2015 peace agreement in September in Juba, announced Chairman of the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission.
Festus Mogae says the IGAD Council of Ministers will hold a high-level revitalization forum on September 22, 2017.
He explains that the forum will generate fundamental proposals to make the peace agreement implementation more holding and sustainable.
Mogae points out that the success of the peace process will require political will from the parties to the agreement.
The JMEC chairman was addressing the Commission during its 18th conference in Juba on Tuesday.
