Citizens in Timbere area of Ndrudu in Hieban County of Nuba Mountains are suffering from lack of water.
Chief Osman Ali Adam explains that the wells are over ten meters deeper and in the dry seasons hold a little water, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
He says a community nursery school lacks water and kids have to take water from homes to their teachers.
The chief appreciates teachers for accepting to teach their children despite the difficult situation.
Lakana Jojo Aniwaih, Deputy Women Association leader, appeals for water provision in their area.
The people are living in bushes for over six years as the actual Timbere area is insecure.
