A priest in the Catholic Diocese of Wau appeals to national and state authorities to play their role in leading the people in a good way to stability.

Fr Arkangelo Louis Sijin in his homily advises people not to lose hope on their leaders, Radio Voice of Hope reports.

He asks the people to show good examples to the coming generations for their safety to avoid forcing them from running away from the country.

Fr Louis points out that citizens are not enjoying the independence of South Sudan because of no vision from the leaders.

The priest was preaching at St Mary Cathedral in Wau on Sunday.
