Caritas Catholic Diocese of Yei distributes two thousand and two hundred food items to vulnerable people in Yei River State.
Angelo Diuk Manya Emergency Coordinator of Caritas Yei told Radio Easter on Tuesday that the distribution was done within Yei town.
The 2,200 beneficiaries are registered and divided to ten centers to receive food ratios, he adds.
He urges people to cultivate patient as there is food shortage from humanitarian organizations.
The beneficiaries express their happiness that food items will help them because it is difficult to afford due to insecurity.
Mabel Marcy a non beneficiary was not registered expresses her anger because the registration didn’t reach their area.
It is the third time CARITAS distributes food items in Yei.
