South Sudanese students group called De-Samuel Fraternity on Sunday celebrates mass for unity in Kampala, Uganda for students who are studying in East Africa.
A Journalist Peter Gaaniko, told Radio Anisa the aim of the mass is for lasting peace to prevail in the country.
Hundreds of South Sudanese students offer their prayers to God to help the suffering people.
Fr George Jangara from the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba says South Sudanese in Kampala should not lose hope and love in their country.
He appeals to those who have lost hope and love to keep it back because the nation shall achieve peace.
Fr Jangara cautions them to avoid adopting the bad manners that others use to practice such as insult and beating.
People should continue with the good spirit because the Almighty Father does not forget his people, he adds.
He cautions all youths and student to stay away from things that cannot help them to develop their talents.
Fr George Hume, Administrator for Mupoi House of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura/Yambio in Kampala, advises South Sudanese in Diaspora to be united and avoid things that separate them.
The people who attended the Eucharistic celebration on Sunday appreciated the initiative and vow to attend the monthly mass.
De-Samuel Fraternity was formed last year under the guidance of Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio to unite South Sudanese in Diaspora.
